Robert was originally engaged by a Condominium developer to manage the completion of the developer’s penthouse condominium in downtown Toronto. The project was close to 8 months behind schedule and moving forward with glacial speed. It soon became apparent that the main cause of the delay was the general contractor.
Given Robert’s detailed knowledge of all facets of construction, the GCwas terminated and Robert assumed the general management of the entire process including dealing with the various subcontractors affected by the termination of the GC.
Given Robert’s extensive construction knowledge and superior administrative skills, his role was expanded to include assisting the Developer with the completion of the wrap up of the construction of a 47-storey, 526 units condominium.
On many occasions, Robert put forward his views and opinions, even when contrary with others, in an honest and straightforward manner.
