We have worked with Remcor on large development projects in a construction management capacity and as a construction consultant overseeing third-party relationships and projects on behalf of Sunlife. Rob’s deep knowledge and ability to bridge, what at times, seemed to be large divides between disparate parties, was integral to moving matters along to successful conclusion. Robert was originally engaged by a Condominium developer to manage the completion of the developer’s penthouse condominium in downtown Toronto.The project was close to 8 months behind schedule and moving forward with glacial speed. It soon became apparent that the main cause of the delay was the general contractor.

Given Robert’s detailed knowledge of all facets of construction, the GCwas terminated and Robert assumed the general management of the entire process including dealing with the various subcontractors affected by the termination of the GC.

Given Robert’s extensive construction knowledge and superior administrative skills,his role was expanded to include assisting the Developer with the completion of the wrap up of the construction of a 47-storey, 526 units condominium.

On many occasions, Robert put forward his views and opinions, even when contrary with others, in an honest and straightforward manner.
